Clinical Genetics and Research
The Clinical Genetics Unit provides comprehensive clinical evaluation, appropriate therapeutic management and genetic counseling services to families or individuals with or at risk for an inheritable disorder including patients confirmed to have a disorder included in the expanded newborn screening panel and pre-natal patients whose congenital anomaly scans are suggestive of a possible genetic disorder.
Schedule of clinic and infusion services are as follows:
Outpatient Clinic Services:
Wednesday and Friday 8am – 12nn

Metabolic Clinic:
2nd and 4th Friday of the month 8am – 12nn

Enzyme Replacement Therapy:
Pamidronate Infusion – Weekly (Tuesday and Thursday)
Aldurazyme Infusion – Weekly (Tuesday/Thursday)
Myozyme Infusion – Every 2 weeks (Monday)
Cerezyme Infusion – Every 2 weeks (Tuesday/Thursday)
Multidisciplinary Clinic:
Bi-annual (To be scheduled)
Osteogenesis Imperfecta Clinic:
Bi-annual (To be scheduled)
